I have front disk and rear drum manual brakes on my 68. I did not like the front to rear bias that the factory GM proportion valve had so i installed an adjustable proportion valve. car stops much better and evenly now.
Their are many GM proportion valves that are built for different model GM cars. They are not all the same.
