We were all once also learning how to work on cars, I happened to be fortunate enough to have a dad who showed me the basics- the very basics but it was a start. Some folks dont have that and I gotta say hats off to them for trying and being bold enough to ask.

Without the new generations these old beauties will not be maintained at some point and may go into oblivion.

I say bring on the new guys and teach them as patiently as possible.
