The original dash speaker has a speaker grill cloth on it to keep dust and dirt from falling into the cones. Be sure to use one with the new dual speakers.
Some very important advice there. When I took my original out it was almost solid dirt. The main reason I switched to the dual speakers is that I could never find another oval speaker that fit into the bracket. It kind of clamps around the magnet and I could never find one to fit.
