I put Hotchkiss 2" lowering springs on my '67, and I really like them. I like the stance of the car, and I have no complaints about the ride or anything else. They really made a difference over the worn out springs that were on it when I bought it--no more instances of the tires rubbing when I hit a dip in the road.
As far as tire fitment, I'm afraid I have no idea.
