I have a Mallory - the next unit will be the MSD. The HyFireIV is a little flakey. The distributor is the Mallory mechanical magnetic and it seems to work okay. There's a reason the pro's use MSD - I'd say go that route. I heard the two wire magnetic distributor was the way to go.
