I just started working on my 67 again and am working on the front suspension. The problem is that all the performance front drop springs are rated for either a small block Chevy or a big block Chevy and the Pontiac engine's weight is somewhere in the midle. So my question is which front spring should I use to give the poncho a 2 inch drop and the firm responsive ride of the performance springs? I feel that the small block springs will be too soft and the car will sit too low and wollow thru turns as stock springs do. But, I feel the big block springs will sit too high and if I were to cut them that the spring rate would be way too high for responsive handling, so what to use> Thanks in advance for any ideas.
