Thanksfor the tips king bird. I have a 67 ragtop and my console does not have the woodgrain. I believe that is seen on the 68's. I found it quite simple to do my console. I simply removed it from tne car and disasembled it completly. It was in great shape so I just gave it a good cleaning and sprayed it lightly with 3 or 4 coats. It looks brand new. Jimbo
