In a business transaction, if I'm greeted with I'll beat you up if you don't like the way I play, the vender can rest assured that they'll have no problems from me. Simply, I won't do business.
As with Epay, I don't care how lame of excuse the seller can come up with, the facts speak for themselves. If you wish to focus on the negative, it appears to be a dominate force. If you step back and look at the the total package, it's more than clear that the large majority is on the up and up, the reason that Epay has turned into such a mega-giant.
The thing you have to do is sort things out. Sellers who threaten to beat you up, even before you buy is something that needs to be thrown in the trash can before a problem can arrise. Sellers have a distinct advantage on Epay. They don't release merchandise until payment has been made and cleared. If they don't pay, or the funds don't clear, then beat 'em up--DUH!
By the way, I have read that some sellers ship before checks clear because most of the payments clear. The ones that don't are just the cost of doing business. It's funny, these sellers happen to be in the group of people who are making megabucks on Epay
It's a 2 way street: I have made 2 pruchases from Terry. Excellent vender and strongly recomended. Based on my experaince on the board, I wouldn't hesitate with making a purchase from Bill.
Going down street the other way, if they threaten to beat you up when you take a peek in their shop windows, they are lousy vender, and I wouldn't recomend them.
