I had a heck of a time with mine, but eventually got it...just took alot of trial and errors...tighten the bolts some ,just enough that you can move the hood forcibly,but it stays otherwise... I ended up having mine almost tight, the using a metal flat bar , tapping it with a hammer , hammering down the hinges to correct level...the rear bolt was hard to get down far enough...I never had to slot the existing holes anymore than they came from the factory..I also used new hinges , bought from Classic...
