If you want some advice, go find a rear end out of an early 70's Nova. They're an 8.5 inch unit and WAY STRONGER. Plus they bolt right in. Thats what I did in mine, and I used an Auburn Gear 3 Spring posi unit (a little strong for the street) and I'll tell you what, this car hooks and goes and I'll never ever break it. Plus the nice thing is with the 8.5 posi units work with multiple gears.
