I'm pretty sure it's for the clock. As your car would have come with out the console and they did also mount the clocks on the hump.

Both you and Scott should sign up to recieve the mailing list for this sight... (follow the instructions on the first page) This list is where yu will find a gold mine of information. Most of the people on the list REALLY know their stuff! You gane get every email or a daily digest of all the emails (questions and answers)

Oh and Scott, if you read this again, there are a few guys on the mailing list you should get to know as Hugo, Al, and some of the other guy's are just down in San Jose and Really know what they are talking about!
