The exposure was great, but did anyone else get the feeling that this guy had something to do with his car getting Overhauled? It seemed to me that the team might have know or figured this out, because it didn't seem like they were giving their all on this build. Yes, they did a Great Job on the Bird, but I have seen cars in worse shape on the show get much more detailed work done to them. The last GTO they did, had much more detail done to it, especially in the engine area, (A New Butler Engine was installed in that car.) Something just didn't seem right with this build. Also, did anyone else pick up on how quick the girlfriend was to answer Chips first question about what her boyfriend wanted done to the car. "STOCK." It would have seemed to me that if she ever whatched the show she would know that it's not a classic restoration show. It sounded like an answer that might have been rehearsed. (?) Mabey it's just me. (?) Either way, another Bird has been saved, and this guy got an awesome machine.
