I have worked with these before, not wonderful. yes the runners are smaller, given the fact that the Pontiac is a torque engine, one would assume this is a good thing. Not so. The OEM intakes work far better than the sp2p, considering the fact. intake is too small already! It was a short lived design from Edelbrock for a good reason! Hope this helps you out some.
