After installing my 400 engine I was worried also because it was not straight (sure was hard for me to get the new th400 xmember and motor mounts all lined up)
After research I found out exactly what Bjorn said, they are supposed to be offset for clearance reasons... I wonder if the first gen camaros are the same?? My guess would be yes since that steering box is in the same spot. Or is it?
