Thanks Vikki for the information. Our Bird is a '69 and the catalogs showed with or without cornering lights without being specific as to what year of car. This information was very valuable and we learned something new. Our update is that we have replaced our switch in the steering column successfully by ourselves. You would think this is funny if you knew us. LOL. Part of the reason we needed to replace the switch was because our left brake light was only working about half the time. We never knew when it was going to work. Actually made a friend with the police dept. ha ha because of it. We learned from a Master Electrician that the problem was probably in our turn signal switch and sure enough he was right. We found out that by wiggling the directional lever that the brake light would go on and off. Now they're both on solid. Thanks again for your help.
Classic birds all the way! Like Rock and Roll, they're here to stay!
