I was watching the BJ on the block show last night, and the cluster f which surrounding the bidding on the GM futureliner last year. Basically, BJ screwed up the auction of that car and sold it to the wrong guy, and we can see the real personality of Craig Jackson, when he was challenging the supposed buyer. Who does this guy think he is?
I met a guy last year who sold 2 corvette's thru BJ. Both car's fetched over $100K each. The guy who sold them was just a peon in the grand scheme of things. Many buyers are flying in on their Lear Jets, and he was saying you really need to be in the inner circle to get a Saturday afternoon spot for your car...held for the special customers.
The fee's are rediculous. Around $300 to get into the show with the right to bid on cars, and the buyer and seller both pay 8% fee for the sale. What a rip off!
