The subframe was changed because of the rust damage at the body mount areas (rust through at the firewall). All the bottom services were damaged from "bottoming out" the car it would appear. The frame rails were pushed in also, probably from lifting the car with a bottle jack without putting a piece of 2x4 on top to distribute the load. There appears to be front end damage on the car (some of the metal, including the bumper was bent), enough to bend the subframe? I don't know. The "new" subframe came out of a really nice Ventura. When I originally bought my 68 the previous owner put a Chevy 305 in it. He welded in Chevy motor mounts. I had to cut these off, grind down the welds, and re-drill the original holes (luckily none the holes were damaged).
