I was just watching "Car and Driver" television today and they showed the special on the camaro....big whoop! anyways they were talking about how hot the "special" 302 that came in the car. it was rated almost 400hp. What the motor is said to be consisted of is a 327 block with a 283 crank, solid lifters and oversized valvesprings. The reason they made this motor was to meet the trans-am spec. regualtions. well I was wondering if i could do the same thing with my 326?? i was thinking of throwing a 301 crank......what do you guys think?? is it possible to match chevy's ideas of creating power but keeping the smallest cubes?
