I'm not sure how much work that would take, and or if the results would be as good, since they also did lots of experimenting with the heads etc...

I must say, that for a 326, even an H.O., your's seems pretty stout! I'd maybe save the money experamenting, and get your heads ported and polished by some one into Pontiacs, and you'll be quite happy!

The H.O.'s were almost what the 400's were in stock form as far as HP. Usually not quite as much torque... but pretty high HP rating...

Do a little more research on the H.O.'s... they may surprise you... and the 141 heads were pretty good on the 326's.
