Jim, Here is the original post....I think the correct answer is (drum roll please) that Yes it could have come that way from the dealer BUT if your friend is "intending a full restoration" then a flat hood would be correct.

I was under the impression that if you didn't have the 400 motor, you didn't have scoops, and if it was a RA setup the scoops were closed off. Can someone shed some light on this for me please?
