Well, after a pretty long hiatus the motor is reassembled and nastier than ever!
I tore the motor down just after Thanksgiving due to a big loss in power and running warmer than normal even with cooler temps. I found 2 main bearings were chewed up and the crank was a loss.
While it was apart I decided to go all out. Lunati Voodoo solid roller cam 248/248 @.050 with .630 lift. Comp Roller lifters, springs, 10 degree retainers, locks and new pushrods.
I have yet to drive it, but as of last night it is READY to be driven. I re-installed the driveshaft, exhaust, and bolted the TC to the flexplate. So far no leaks anywhere....
Only thing left to do is align the hood, connect the fog lamps and the electric fan relays to the battery and it's ready to roll.
