When I bought my cammer it had not only the incorrect springs, it had one that was bad. The PO put those COIL SPRING ADJUSTERS on the bad spring. Man you never heard such a racket when going over speed bumps and driveway grade changes. That was the first thing I removed from the car. So it sat funny, at least it was quiet.
I finally replaced both front coils, and now it sits at the correct ride height in front. Next is replacing the incorrect rear leaf springs. With these incorrect leafs it sits way to high, and gives it that jacked up look we wanted in the ‘70’s. I have about 150 lb of sand in the trunk for ballast now.
