I tried, Goo B-Gone, Paint Thinner, Simple Green...but none worked. I couldn't believe what did work though....
Mr. Clean Magic Eraser is the only thing I found to do the trick. It is a small sponge size white abrasive pad, that my wife swears by....I couldn't believe it worked, and didn't damage the pillar posts I was cleaning. I scrubbed hard, and still no damage. I thought it might rub the grain off, but it didn't . Must say this is some great stuff!
