the only instance that may be the exception is a left hand drive car but i know of noe of these. not saying they dont exist but i have yet to here of them. if you own one let me know!
My 'bird is left hand drive...all my birds are left hand drive.
Right hand drive still use the same carb and intake, so the throttle cable would be on the same side, but routed differently. I'd guess than on a '67 conversion that it probably would have been converted to a throttle cable rather than trying to make a throttle rod work.
