Well, that was the one way I knew to tell a 70 GTO dual snorkel air cleaner from a '69 Firebird.
I have heard tha 1969 Firebird production went well into April 1970, and possible longer.
Unless there is a difference between the shape of the snorkels between the two cars, then I would assume the one you have is correct for a Firebird.
Anyone else on this? I recall Daniel Dykstra just went through a lot of research on this. I would have guessed he's have chimed in by now.

I have a spare 69 dual snorkel housing with no lid from a GTO. I will see if I can dig it out and get some pictures. I'll also check the date on it to see if it's cloeser than the one you have (if you are looking for date matched parts). Maybe we could work out a trade if there is no difference from GTO to 'Bird.
