Hi Guys, I just installed the 467 stroker in my 68 Firebird. I went with the Performer RPM intake and the Edelbrock Thunder 800 carb with electric. choke. It doesn't appear that the drop-down air cleaners will clear the choke assm. or the throttle linkage. The standard 3" X 14" air cleaner is too high. I'm wondering if I could go with a 2" element instead and mayber use one of those lid filters also. Any ideas? I wouldn't be opposed to putting a cone filter up front somewhere and plumbing it to the carb like those cold air intakes (K&N etc.). I just haven't seen any adapters that mount to the carb and can attach to the tubing. Any ideas? Thanks for the help! Dave
