I`m sure many of you have been there before and can point me in the right direction. I`m removing all the chrome and emblems so I can get my car painted. Now I need access to remove the chrome pieces behind the front wheels. It looks like the wheel wells need to come out so I can get to the back side. Can I remove the wheel wells without un-bolting the fenders or am I going about this all wrong? Thanks for the help.

I think it will be easier to just loosen the fender at the bottom rear and reach up to unbolt them you dont have to take the fender all the way off. Not sure if you can reach them just by removing the wheel well, I think the a couple of the bolts are back behind where the cowl comes down to the rockers. I dont know for sure as my fenders were off when I removed mine

Thank you for the advise. I was able to get at them that way and the car is now ready to go to the paint shop and recieve its first repaint.

I took my fenders off so I could install the TA fender vents and after the holes were cut I could see that the cowl comes down right where the nuts would be. be sure and post some pics when its painted.
