Does anyone know of a company that will ship an engine across country for a reasonable price

My buddy shipped a Volvo engine to NY from Houston via air freight, but you got to take to airport and have picked up. It was cheap, I think like $85 or such...supposedly cheapest , but not totally to destination..

I've used Forward Air very reasonable. You have to drop off at a terminal near the airport and the other end has to be picked up same way. Check out www.forwardair.com to see what the nearest terminals are on both ends.

Hi all, Greyhound has a 100 # limit on items being shipped. I found that out asking about shipping a '65-'66 GTO hood I have hanging around.
