I am currently restoring my 67 convertible. It originally had a factory installed clock, mounted on the transmission tunnel, under the dash. (This is a 4 spd car without a console)Could someone share a photo and some knowledge as to what type of bracket(s) were used to mount it to the hump? I have a NOS clock but no bracket.......
BS, there should be a foot, or pedistal type base for your clock, that is angled slightly where the clock mounts, and then contoured to mimic the tranny tunnel on the bottom where it would mount to the hump. I'll see if I can find any pictures, and will try to let you know.
Actually it does help. I found my missplaced Service manual this morning and saw the illustration of the bracket and clock. Now all I need is a bracket! Does anyone repro it? (I doubt it)I think I will try FirebirdBill....
