Does anyone know where I can find a shift kit for a Super Turbine 300 auto transmission for my '69 Firebird Sprint. 4.1L OHC6 250 Ci.? My particular car was one of the very few early production OHC6 birds that came out of the Lordstown, Ohio Plant back in '69. I've done extensive researching on this setup and found out that only a little more than 430 Sprint 2-door coupes were rolled-off the assembly line with this type of transmission. It's still a good street cruising trans. and I would like to keep it original if I can, but need to strengthen it up a little. I live in the Baton Rouge, Louisiana area and have won several awards at car show events in my area as well as the Gulf Coast area. I'm yet to see another one like mine. I'm getting ready for the upcoming Cruising The Coast event in Biloxi, Mississippi, 10-5 thru 10-12. If anybody gets the chance to come down for that week, you won't be dissappointed. Last year they had over 5,000 registered cars cruisin' all up and down the coast. It's amazing! Anyway, if someone has some information about the ST-300, please advise. Thanks!
