I just got a green/parch 67 convert. that I want to change into a gulf turquoise/parch 67. Don't worry-she isn't matching numbers, and the color change is gonna' be sweet. She has the 400 hood, and will have a 4-spd and hood tach when I am done with her. I have 2 Q's that I need help with: First what color is the dash and interior door tops going to be-black or a shade of turquoise? Second is the carpet going to be black or turquoise?dark aqua ???
Anyone who can make sense of this=please HELP! LOL!!! My 69 coupe is Expresso Brown and the parchment gut has all black appointments, but for the 67 something tells me that there is at least with the dash and door tops a need to go a certain degree gloss to match the body paint. Also I would THINK a turquoise carpet would look slammin' ...Opinions please???
1969 Firebird 350 Coupe, Rust free Texas body, formerly brown, now a TA clone with quality spoiler, latching hood and TA wheel; 1969 GTO Convertible Expresso Brown/Parchment(currently painted red). Both numbers matching. My first love was a Cameo White 67 326 Coupe, bought back in 1983, at the age of 17, for $1,200. Been hooked since on PONTIAC! Working on a 67 400 ragtop for customization-Gulf Turquoise/Parchment/400/4 spd! My winter project!
