I'm in the market for some good front and rear springs(need something to replace the rear mono leafs) for my 67 conv. I'd like to go with a 1" to 2" drop. and some 17" rims. I'd like to hear about your set ups, like how much drop you have, what size rims including back spacing, and where did you get your springs from. Are you happy or is there more to be desired? If you have any pics of your lowered car, hard top or conv. I'd really like to check it out. Thanks in advance, Nick

I have a brand-new set of Eaton Detroit 4-leaf springs with a 1-1/2" drop. They are brand new - never mounted. I don't have any pictures of the car with them, unfortunately.

If your research leads you to this ... as mine did ... I will be happy to sell them. I am going with a Jaguar IRS. No need for leaf springs.

Do you know what it takes in order to replace the mono with the 4 leaf. Is it a kit, do I need new axle perches. I'm really looking for something that dosent require to much work in this dept ( I have enough to do in all the rest of the dept's). Thanks and I'll keep you in mind. Go check out the suspension section of Team Camaro and David Pozzi's web site (links below). There is a wealth on info from Camaro guys on how to lower 1st Gen Camaros and make them handle that will work for 'Birds.
