I stripped the trunk lid yesterday that I will be using on my 69 and found holes for the "P O N T I A C" letters. At first I thought someone had used a slide hammer to pull dents until I noticed the pattern is the same as the 69 tail panel. What year had the letters on the trunk lid?

Rocky, 67 and 68 had the holes

Thanks Drew, but I already welded the holes and skimmed the bondo. A little glazing and primer and I'll be all set for paint.
