I just got my bumpers back from the plater last week. I got the "triple show chrome" plate, and the rear bumper cost me $500. You can expect it to cost between $300 and $500, depending on the quality of the job, and where you take them. I guess you have to decide whether it is a "show" or "cruiser/driver" car....
Bumper Boyz just did my 1969 rear bumper for $220.00. Sent it to them and got my original bumper back. Will be doing my front in a couple of months for $185.00 They do a very nice job.....I'm extremely pleased.Have also heard a lot of good remarks about them and saw a friends that they did before I even sent them mine. Ray, I am glad to hear you have had luck with the Bumper Boyz. I considered going with them, but I know of 3 different persons that got their bumpers and had problems later on. The chrome wants to discolor and started to crack just after the 1 year warranty. They tried to see if there was something they would do to correct it, but would not stand behind their work past the 1st year. It may have something to do with the climate in OH? I don't know......
