I'm curious, about the benefits of a street roller cam. You can get a solid lifter cam that has more lift & duration. Does the solid lifter cam make more power? I understand the faster opening ramp pattern of the roller, but what are the rewards, More HP with less valvetrain s  train?durability?, Maintenance?
Is there a performance break where it makes sense to go from a Hydraulic cam to a roller cam? I know its more expensive where in the HP numbers does the switch make sense? Thanks in advance
depends on how big a cam you want to run and how you are going to be driving your car. If its going to be a daily driver and some racing at the strip then a good hyd. cam will be more than fine. You wont know the difference and take the price difference and buy some things that will make a difference.
