After I finished my '69 Firebird, I told myself that I would never buy another convertible with A/C ever again, and that I would wait some time so I could redo the interior in my car and really make it complete. well, I lied. Heres my new (most likely long term/forever) project going to get a full rotisserie resto with all new sheet metal. Its a 100% numbers matching 400 A/C vert, that is well loaded with options, and has all of the original paperwork and documentation.
I really enjoy welding, so im guessing ill have a good time with this one.
Now this is too funny. This car is was at one of my storage facilities (Uncle Bob's Self Storage) in FL correct? That is the company I work for, I have 60 stores in FL. What are the chances of that? I looked at that car this past summer. There is another 68 at one of the other locations in about the same condition...

Thats unbelieveable. Yep, this one was at the Lake Worth Uncle Bob's Self Storage. Im getting pretty excited about starting this one. Ive just got a few other projects to finish up and a rotisserie to build before I tear this one apart.
I did some digging around last night and this one still has the original exhaust and its in pretty decent shape. I also found all the parts for the remote trunk release, which was gone on my 350 'bird.

Too funny. I saw that car a few times over the last year and I kept telling myself, let it go, it's too far gone. LOL I vist that store about once every 60 days. We should get together sometime for lunch.
Also, Firebirdman, I'll be down your way right agter the first of the year. We should meet for lunch as well.
Also, to anyone on this site, if you know of and or would like to have someone look at a car anywhere in the state of FL do not hesitate to ask as I cover the entire state and travel daily. I always have my dig cam w/ me and I can even take pics and send them instantly as I always have my laptop in the truck and connected to the internet. I can even do video clips as well I just have to pull into a Staples and jump on their highspeed connection (little trick I learned) LOL.
