For those who are suffering from cabin fever, here's something to keep you busy. This game was just released this past Tuesday and I have to say it's incredible.
What was really cool was the car that the player starts with. It's model name is the Calvary: it's a cross between a '67/'68 Firebird, a Cuda and a Boss 302. The grill, front bumper and 400-style hood are Firebird. However, the hood is flat black with hoodpins. The body is Cuda, complete with strobe striping. The rims, deck lid, spoiler, tail panel and rear bumper are Boss.
It looks really good and it's great to see these new games paying homage to this era. The graphics are amazing and it's a ton of fun to play. Thumbs up here.

I thought the front looked wider like a 68 Lemans, with 68 GTO ram air hood, 70 Baracuda body, and 70 Mustang tail lights. All together a very weird combination!
I saw the commercial to and thought the car was a hybrid of some sort.
I just upgraded to PS2 from PS1. I couldn't see spending that kind of money on the PS3 game console. A friend at work told me you can load the Lexis OS and use it as a PC. Guess I should have waited to buy, I've heard a lot of good things about the PS3. The drawback though is it can't read the old PS1 and PS2 game disks.
