I have a line on #13 heads magnafluxed but bare, no valves or anything. I have a nice (relative term) 326 cu inch and was wondering if these heads would be worth $300. I know the 326 is a barn burner that everyone has an eye peeled for! Just don't want to polish a tu#$ so to speak.
Those heads are too large for the bore of a 326 without chamfering the cylinder bores.
You will be at 9.7 to 1 with those heads on a 326.
And head flow and valve size may be too much for that displacement. typical 326 heads..60 cc and 1.96/1.66 valves..Those 13's are 72-78 cc (sometimes 80) and may be too much flow. They also have 2.11 and 1.77 valves.
But for $300, I would buy them for a future 350-400 project. I do prefer uncut 62's and 13's over any advertised "72 cc head" as there have been variations so much with chamber size that installing 80 cc heads (62 or 13) is awesome and cheap.
