This is the rarest of all Trans Ams in the world being a Ram Air 5
wouldnt a 69 TA convertible be more "valuable" ? only 8 made...agreed the RAV is rare ,but with the combo of a coupe? guess its "rare" vs "Valuable"...?

Probably just a RA III from the factory. He says they put the V in at the proving grounds. Which would be very hard to document. Without documentation it's just a 'non original' TA. I think you could knock off a zero(50k). Then add for whatever drive train that's in it.....
I don't know, with the extra Bias Ply tires I think it's a bargain. Hope he's got the distributor to go with the cross ram intake, useless without it. Some guy on PY is looking for one, I think all those post and listings are related. Lots of bids on the intake.
Only thing I see from these type listings is it lets the public know when a rare car is on the market. No way does he think he'll sell it on E-bay, just fishing for a buyer. Obviously doesn't want to go to auction for some reason.

Wanting a Custom fit in an off the rack world.
I don't have time for a job, I just need the money.
I saw a feature on a '69 GTO Ram V on 'American Muscle Cars (W. Dennis Gage) -Only it was installed by the owner.. -and had the only-ever-made tach w. shift light (green-Yellow-Red).. Maybe it was fake.. -don't know -don't care .. -it was a very nice car.. -And so is this one going to be..
Hmmm. Why E-pay? I'm with Vikki, if there wasn't something to hide, this would have been a hallmark car at a BJ auction.

I don't think he's trying to sell it on e-pay, but it's a fairly cheap way to get national exposure for a high end car going on the market. If someone is interested, for that much coin they don't care what pics are shown, they're going to go look at it. He doesn't have to put much effort into the ebay ad, so why bother?
BJ cost to much and is no reserve, Mecum or Steele would take some effort to get it ready, if he can sell for his price without effort, why wouldn't you?
Besides, no matter how much he showed or documented, someone will always put it down as incorrect, not this, not that. Only way to know is go look at it and see his documentation, and at 1/2 mil you bet I would.

I believe that the car would be worth more with it's original drive train.... And that would be about $100-150K depending on the quality of the restoration. The only way he's going to come close to his objective of half a mill is exactly where it's at. In a vacuum of dis-information without formal documentation and objective opinions presented.. So he's got it in the right place.. He wouldn't get away with all the BS at BJ...
