The Corvette guys have been using my scope for years.

The Pontiac stuff is different, there is no machined surface that could be modified.
And you guys have all those records available through PHS.
You don't know how lucky your are.
So much fraud with the Chevy stuff.

Just because the pads are in a different location on a Pontiac doesn't mean they don't get milled and restamped.

At least on a Pontiac, if you discover one you KNOW it's a fraud.

You are right.
But it is much harder to make the Pontiac surface look untouched.
It is stamped right into the casting - very hard to duplicate a cast surface.

But yes I am sure it can be done.

The VIN and engine code and unit number pads on a Pontiac have broach marks just as does a Chevy. Sometimes they are faint, but they are there. I have pics if you'd like some, just can't post them in this category.
