I bet it will be obvious when you take the old off the doors....

They have small tabs on the back that are bent over to hold them on. Usually you have to drill holes for them in the new panels. I never had much luck trying to poke them through without drilling small holes....

Nothing works better then a HOT ice pick as it will not tear the vynle as a drill will smile

Good idea... I didn't have a problem drilling a clean hole though.

...thoughts of Basic Instinct just ran through my mind...

Be very cautious when when bending the spade tabs as they may weaken. I remember taking mine apart several years ago to install new carpet and to paint the panels. I just remember thinking at the time that I hoped they would unbend and then rebend etc. without breaking. I know a couple of them where getting a bit "worn" in the process...

Rather than a hot ice pick I often use a handheld electric soldering iron as it seals the edges of the vinyl as it passes through.

I used the drill, just did not push hard, the friction heats up the plastic and it almost melts thru with a nice clean hole....and yes, it is tabs that are "carefully" bent over to hold it in place.

Are they Standard or Deluxe, where did you get them from?
