Can´t be THAT complicated to press this simple steel baffle - why don´t the partsuppliers reproduce it? Even if they will go down to USD 150.00 ea they will earn good money...

thats very high, BUT I checked with a local metal fabricator two yrs ago to see if he could help me reproduce these, he over the phone first said he could...but after showing him the piece ,he said it needed to be 'stamped" and a die for it would be around $10,000....so I didnt produce these!

That was a real nice one. Still seems pretty high though.

Its a 50 dollar piece of sheet metal!

It would almost seem that if someone had a nice one and had the ambition he could make one himself.

I thought the same and I tried....not personally , but found a guy that does stuff like that...see abv.
