I'm think about installing a deep pan on my TH400 while I have it out. Was wondering if any one has ever had any clearance problems with a deep pan while driving? I'm running all stock suspension.

Unless you are running high gearing/racing or towing, nix the deep pan.
You already have a tranny cooler?
Money better spent upgrading to an aftermarket cooler (fan depending on climate)
If you use the radiator as a trans. cooling loop, make sure your radiator is in real good condition as the cooling issues with Pontiacs is a PITA.

Essentailly, deeper pans are fine, but only necessary for racing or towing. If you are worried about frying a trans, a trans cooler with fan I would recommend to anyone regardless of climate.
