Anyone know if I can substitute another Glove Box Lock Escuteon? I have the latch but it's a little rough and the Escuteon threads are shot. Would a 67-68 work? I an tired of having a wire wrapped up around the hand grip.

So far I have not found a Glove Box Lock Escuteon for a 69 bird, however I see that Classic does have one for 67-68 any idea if these work. Maybe one for a GTO?

67-68 Firebird is different.... Not sure on the GTO part. Most likely it has a different length catch arm.
