Hello; Have any of you wizards ever tried to install headers on a 69 firebird conv with a 350 engine? The space between my original exhaust (it looks original) and my stearing box is very tight as it is.

It's the same with all the Pontiac v-8's(326-455). Headers fit good. You can buy Hedman and have to adjust a little right there near the steering box. A small dent with a hammer usually works. Or you can buy Doug's and they fit without the dent.

Hey just put a set of hedmans on my 69 bird, sent out for jet coat,fit perfectly,DONT FORGET NEW MOTOR MOUNTS, or youll have problems
