I have a wheel off a 80s firebird. Will this fit on a '68? Old wheel is a standard and I don't like how deep the dish is, nor how larger the overall diameter is.
I'm not sure... Bjorn would know, but I think Drew and a couple of the Houston Area guys did similar upgrades... I know they did 3rd or 4th gen seat upgrades and one even a dash... so they may have more info for you? - Brett!
I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not sure. Okay back to topic. I am not interested in buying a car with the name Amanda on it. I was thinking about a 80's Trans Am wheel, not that airbag thingamajig.
Fbody must have a picture of what I'm talking about. He probably has at least two of these cars in his warehouse that he calls a garage.
I think I know the wheel you're talking about, it's called a Formula wheel. I have one in my '67, so I would guess that it would fit a '68 as well. I don't know what's involved in getting it to work, my car came with it already installed. Mine is missing the center cap and the horn contacts.
