I cannot figure out on the kit from Ram air restorations what the allen bolt is for or where it goes? It's the allen bolt that comes with the oil filter housing adaptor kit. Can someone that has installed long branch manifolds help me out here?

I believe the allen bolt goes in the recessed hole in the adapter and into the block.

I don't have a recessed hole. What you say makes sense if I had a recessed hole.

The allen bolt on mine went inside the adapter to the right and into the block....it was a bugger to tighten with an allen wrench..I actually broke mine off in the bolt and had a bugger getting the broken piece off...be careful!

That was a bugger. I got it though. It wasn't immediately apparent where it was supposed to go.

Good luck, you are going to be very happy with the LBMs!

Did you check the gasket against the holes? They had a problem with some, it was blocking a lot of the oil passage hole.
I caught mine during assembly, a buddys speed shop said he had customers bring in burnt cranks due to lack of oil, culprit was the adapter.
