I have had 3 guys stop, test drive, and then say I have to go talk to my wife - FAILED SALE
Lots of young kids. Want to trade? (Rice Burner) I have to go ask my Dad Would you take payments? ALL FAILED SALE
Guy asks "Whats the lowest you will go?" Me - "4k$" Guy - "Would you take $3500?" Me- "Did you not hear me?" FAILED SALE
Guy shows up, walks around it states "Not showroom condition" Me - "Not a Showroom price either" Guy - "I expected a lot better condition" Me - "Go to Barret Jackson" FAILED SALE
I guess people are getting cheaper because cost of living is so high. I worked with a guy who would waste his gas driving around looking for the best deal when he could have already had it cheaper by saving gas and time!
I had an 89 Formula for sale a couple years back.... What a pain that was to sell! Beautiful car. Vette option FI 350 and with all the handling options. I thought it would sell easy but I had to pratically give it away.
I didn't really need to sell mine either. But after a year of it setting outside I took $2800 for it. I made $200 for putting a trans in it. Not something I would want to do again....
I have a 78 Z28. Had one guy tell me mine is a fake clone, Chevy quit making Z28's after 1969. I just smiled and said the emblems cost me a fortune LOL lOL LOL

Hi, I just can't help but to comment on this rear end. This did not come in a firebird from the factory!! The other guy is correct that it came from a chevelle and was modified to fit the firebird but whatever!!

It is a buyers market. Either you are negotiable or not. If the shown price is $4500 and you are getting offers of $3500, bump up the price to 5K.
If you need the money, your negotiating options are limited. If you do not, hang onto the car and expect some BS along the way.
If I had to sell my HO to buy a better HO or a Ram Air car, the price would be "X" with some leeway. If I did not have to sell, the price would be firm as concrete.
