I was debatin a new vette when just before I bought my new STS--could have saved a few bucks--stinkin chebby. dont'cha know?
But the chitty additude of eveyone on the chebby lot made me question the quality of the service had I needed any warranty work. I do factor in the possible jealousy factor as the root of the additude; after all, none of them have enough coal up their @$$ to buy new cadillacs or vetts.
Mmmmm. I love the smell of fiberglass in the morning.

BillyBob, my dad is down in South Texas and is thinking of parting with his '70 Vette project. I'm going to be starting a '68 Firebird convertible for him this summer, he can only drive one at a time.
350 auto car, crate motor plus original, definitely project status but solid structure.

Vicki Can you post some pics. I would like to get a car that is somewhat put together. I have seen a couple that look like a kid took it apart and all the parts are in boxes all over the place.
Can't pull the trigger until Sept or Oct.
Right now I am contemplating another car or yanking the motor out of one of Camaros and either installing a pigblock or Hyd Roller Cam 383.

This is one of the cars with quite a few parts not attached. However, it does not appear to be missing much of anything. Body on frame roller with drivetrain installed. And priced appropriately.

You might consider this: you can pick up a *very* collectible ZR-1 these days from the mid-20's if you shop around. The ZR-1 option was a $30,000 engine option (above the base sticker) from 1990 - 1995.
