Does anyone know if they reproduce the 67-68 8 track player face plate and tone knobs. I guess you can get the regular knobs, but I haven't seen the tone knobs which go behind the regular knobs on the 8 track. The face plates on the Camaro and Firebird are smilar. With time the plastic chrome peels off. I guess you can paint it all black and have the edges chromed. Is there a company out there doing this type of work and what's the cost..

I found a company in Texas that restores the 8 track face plates. They rechrome them and refinish the front plate. I recieved a pic from Tony ( Owner Tony's Auto Classic ) of the end product, and it looks like it excellent.... I'm planning on sending mine out soon to be restored. If anyone is interested you should email Tony at the following email and I'm sure he will send you a pic of what the face plate looks like restored. The cost is not bad he quoted me about $50.00 to rechrome and $47.50 to refinish inner black area. If you email him, tell him I referred you ...
